The University of Oregon School of Journalism hosted a data storytelling workshop with Design Week Portland. I spoke about three efforts in the newsroom to push forwards data storytelling at OPB:
- Data to personalize stories with Aftershock
- Data to drive story and visuals across platform with “Livestock Grazing and the BLM's Backlogged Environmental Policies.”
- Data as a resource with Slack bots.
